Welcome! I’m Elsie…

I live in Duluth, Minnesota with my husband, Jonny, and our two daughters, Sela and Rosa. When I’m not coaching, you can usually find me chasing my girls around the yard, singing to Taylor Swift in the kitchen, riding my fat-tire bike in the woods, or planning our next adventure.

As a mom and entrepreneur, I know what it’s like to hold a lot — work deadlines, bedtime routines, relationship goals, and that ever-elusive “me time.” Some days flow with ease; others are messy and exhausting. But both teach me something about presence, grace, and what it truly means to lead… at home and at work.

If you’re craving more balance, joy, and fulfillment in your own life — you’re in the right place.

Why Turning Life Gold?

When I was 23 years old, I went through a divorce. During that time, I found strength in a quote from one of my favorite Minnesota hip-hop artists, Atmosphere:

“When life gives you lemons,
you paint that shit gold.”

That line helped me reframe my pain and start seeing beauty and meaning in the mess. It became my mantra — and later, the name of my first blog, which eventually grew into my coaching business.

For me, Turning Life Gold is about transformation — finding the light in the dark, the wisdom in the challenge, and the gold that comes from showing up fully for your own life.

🌿 If you’re in a season of change or ready to rediscover your spark — I’d love to support you in turning your own life gold.

How I work with clients

As a coach, I help my clients turn their lives gold. I take a stand for their greatness, vision, and potential — even when they can’t see it yet themselves.

Together, we do the inner work and the outer work: the mindset shifts, the courageous conversations, the goal-setting, and the follow-through.

I believe in transformation that’s both soulful and practical — the kind that lets you lead powerfully at work and still have energy left for the people you love most.

At the heart of it all…

I believe life isn’t meant to be perfect — it’s meant to be lived. Whether I’m coaching a corporate leader, an entrepreneur, or a working mom in the thick of it all, my work is about helping people come home to themselves, get unstuck, and create a life that feels deeply aligned with who they are.

Because balance is possible. Growth is possible. And turning life gold? That’s possible too.
